Village/Town of Mount Kisco – Case Study
About Mount Kisco
Mount Kisco is a government owned community pool. Servicing Mount Kisco residents and non-residents of neighboring communities.
Mount Kisco’s Policies
Mount Kisco has 16+ membership types based on the school district, age, and family size. As well as camps, swim, and dive teams. They sell seasonal memberships and day passes.
Mount Kisco’s Needs
- Features their Government Management Software does not have.
- Amenity check-in
- Physical passes
- Membership type features to properly enforce different membership type entry policies.
- An entry feature to sell single entry (1 visit) passes vs. multi entry (10 visit) passes.
- A software that allows management to sell onsite as well as their government’s main offices off-site.
- An instantly available pool pass to distribute on-site.
How Mount Kisco Uses Access Granted Systems
Need #1
Unfortunately, Mount Kisco’s government management software does not have everything needed to run their community pool. Access Granted Systems allows clients to pick and choose only the features and services they need. This enables Mount Kisco to use AGS as a supplemental software without overpaying or forcing Mount Kisco to use two systems for the same task.
Mount Kisco use…
- AGS’s check-in feature: Since their government management software does not have an amenity check-in feature, they use AGS to check-in patrons, enforce policies, and track statistics.
- AGS’s pool pass service: Since their government management software does not have a pass printing feature, they use ours to distribute passes.
They don’t need or use…
- AGS’s applications: Their management software has a form builder feature. There is no need to double pay for this feature
- AGS’s payment system: Their management software has a payment system. Since their accounts use this for other government functions, no need to use two separate systems and overcomplicate finances.
Need #2
Assess Granted Systems allows an unlimited number of membership types. This gives Mount Kisco flexibility to manage the community as needed.

Need #3
In addition to season-long memberships that permit members to come and go to the pool as many times as they wish all season, Mount Kisco also sells single entry passes. They sell these individually or in blocks of ten (10). Mount Kisco utilizes the entry feature to track theses passes.

Need #4
Access Granted Systems allows management to quickly add members manually. Whether it is off-site at the government’s main office or onsite at the pool, updates are instant. Mount Kisco does not need to shift their operations from the off-season at the main office to the in-season at the pool. Patrons can make their purchases any location, any time of the year.

Need #5
Mount Kisco utilizes classic PVC pool passes. They need a way to quickly distribute passes to members as they purchase memberships. To make this convenient for both staff and patrons, Mount Kisco utilizes AGS’s classic pass service mailed to management option. They purchase boxes of 500 pre-printed passes. They’re kept at the ready for when a new membership is sold. The staff reaches into the box and distributes the next numerical pass number. Passes are reused year after year. Membership type, access, expiration dates, entry passes, etc. are updated in the software. No long lines, no printer malfunctions, and no expired/wasted passes. Mount Kisco only orders more passes if needed.
